This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, authentication tokens, and permissions when you connect your social media profiles and pages with our service.

2. Information & Permissions We Collect

To provide automated publishing and scheduling features, Prabhu Social requests explicit authorization via official OAuth 2.0 protocols from platform providers including Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, and X (Twitter):

• Account & Profile Identifiers: Basic public profile details (such as account name, username/handle, and unique organization or person URNs) to identify connected destinations within your dashboard.
• OAuth Access Tokens: Secure authorization tokens provided directly by third-party platforms allowing our application to publish posts on your behalf upon your direct schedule or trigger.
• Post Content & Media: Captions, scheduled times, images, and video assets uploaded directly to our Media Library solely for the purpose of publishing to your chosen channels.

We do not collect personal financial information, private direct messages, contacts, or browsing history.

3. Token Storage & Security

Security and privacy are our top priorities. All sensitive authentication tokens (such as Facebook Page Access Tokens and LinkedIn Bearer Tokens) are encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption prior to database persistence.

• Tokens are used exclusively by our backend publishers to fulfill scheduled publishing jobs.
• Access tokens are never exposed in public endpoints or client-side scripts.
• We do not sell, rent, or transfer your access credentials to any third-party advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Retention & Account Deletion

You maintain full control over your connected accounts at all times:

• Disconnecting Accounts: You can disconnect or delete any social media account from the Accounts dashboard. Doing so immediately and permanently purges all associated encrypted access tokens from our database.
• Revoking Access: You can also revoke access at any time from your platform settings (e.g., LinkedIn Settings & Privacy ➔ Data Privacy ➔ Other Applications, or Meta Business Integrations).
• Data Deletion Request: If you wish to delete all associated media files, scheduled posts, and logs, you can contact our support team for immediate deletion.
